Last weeks budget contained no funds to start building the long awaited and promised primary school in Passage West.
As reported here on www.harbourviews.net in October, the school was promised when Minister Martin was minister for education… almost a decade on the latest report we received was that after a year in a pre-design phase no design team had yet been appointed as of last month.
We are awaiting a response from the department as to whether or not this design team is in place however given that there is no money coming our way it would appear that it will be many years before we the children of Passage West get their school.
